People are drawn to yoga for many different reasons.  Some have a chronic condition or wish to recover from an injury. Others aim to improve their physical fitness, strength, flexibility or balance. Many people practice yoga for their mental health as it is well know to relieve stress,  allow deep physical relaxation and improve mood. The list of benefits goes on and on. The reason why people continue to practice yoga regularly goes even deeper!

I attended Jamie's yoga course for beginners and then his regular weekly and Mysore style classes which were all brilliant. The classes were well rounded blending physical yoga with the spiritual elements beautifully. As a total beginner I had no idea what to expect and was so pleased with how my physical limits were respected and pushed. I have had a wonderful experience working one to one with Davinia to develop my personal practice. Davinia goes above and beyond what you would expect from a personal yoga programme, both with her time and the content. She has such a genuine interest in helping people and incredibly passionate about yoga. I signed up for a personal yoga session to help manage a diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis and Osteoarthritis. Davinia has such a wealth of experience and knowledge, together with her infectious enthusiasm, patience and gentle nature makes her such an inspirational teacher. I now practice yoga daily which has had a dramatic effect on my physical and mental wellbeing. I am better physically and also so much calmer and grounded as a result. I joined the course by curiosity and it was a revelation ! If you are like me- not a big fan of fitness centres and still you feel like you want to regain strength, flexibility and a good physical condition then try yoga. Furthermore, try yoga with Jamie or Davinia because they are highly competent and careful with everyone body specificity, because they have classes at practical hours...because they both do their classes in English and or Spanish and, last but not least, because they are genuinely nice persons.

I appreciate your friendly attitude to us, your students. You are kind and accommodating to our needs and advise us on how we can proceed when we hit problems with an asana. Now in my middle eighties there are asanas that I find difficult but you show awareness that some of us will have difficulty and offer an adaptation of the asana or exercise you are teaching. Therefore, I feel welcome to continue as I do benefit from your teaching.
